Breast Augmentation – Costa Rica New Look
Breast augmentation- also known as breast enlargement- is a surgical procedure performed to create aesthetically pleasing breasts. Silicone or saline breast implants, which feel similar to soft breast tissue, are inserted beneath the glandular tissue of the breast. This operation can be done to increase breast size, to redefine the breasts after childbirth, or to recreate symmetry after a mastectomy.
There are several types of breast implants available and your surgeon will discuss these options with you to help you decide what is the right choice for the results you’re looking to achieve. The incision type used in breast augmentation surgery generally depends on the goal of the surgery and whether you want to correct the gland shape or produce some gland uplift. Once the incision is made, the surgeon will lift the breast tissue to create a pocket. This pocket will either be under the breast tissue or underneath the pectoral muscle. Once the pocket is created the surgeon will place a breast implant inside.
Following your breast augmentation surgery, you will need to keep your breasts supported. You can return to work 7 days after your surgery. Postoperative instructions will be discussed with your surgeon. We will be happy to assist you with all the information and advice you might need to make a safe and well thought out decision regarding breast augmentation in Costa Rica.
