I would like to take this time to extend my compliments and recommendation to Dr. Pastor and his Patient Services Coordinator, Carolina Aguilar.

Dr. Pastor is awarded accolades for expressing the best solution for each procedure. Competent, sensitive physicians such as Dr. Pastor are the prize of the medical profession. The sensitivity and support given helped me through a very difficult time. He and Ms. Aguilar took the time to organize specific procedure on specific days. I admired the willingness, energy, and organizational abilities they both put forth as a team. As an out-of-the-country traveler, I feared the worse but the competency of both Dr. Pastor and Carolina Aguilar was impeccable therefore, easing my mind tremendously.

In a surprisingly short time Ms. Aguilar had processed forms, dates and times for each procedure with precision. My hospital stay was without incident and went smoothly. The Catholic Hospital in San Jose was most accommodating and I felt right at home (I reside in California). The anesthesiogist, nurses, orderlies and the rest of the staff were courteous and pleasant. Each and every individual took the time to see to my needs. I will always remember their willingness to help me during my stay in Costa Rica.

Upon my release from hospital, I was transferred to a recovery facility. It is a private home whose owner has an extensive medical background. She is a wonderful woman. Her home is that of which one would love to live in. She provides not only great conversation but fabulous food is presented as well. She and her staff (a cook, gardener and housekeeper) made "recovery a luxury". The home is equipped with all the pleasures of my own home (telephones, computer access, televisions). The bathrooms are fully functional for the disabled but by no means do they resemble a hospital! No, not Ana's house!!! Tile and large tubs all the way. Then there are the gardens surrounding her home! Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. This is one of the many services offered by Dr. Pastor office. Carolina Aguilar is also the coordinator for this indulgence. I truly recommend it!

I received very sensitive and kind treatment under the care of Dr. Pastor and Carolina Aguilar. The extra time and effort Dr. Pastor and Carolina Aguilar administered was certainly worthwhile. I was touched by the sincere devotion possessed by Dr. Pastor. He was both enjoyable and informative. They handle each and every patient singularly with tremendous efficiency.

Ms. Aguilar has consistently displayed a remarkable ability to cope under high stress situations. When notified of a shortened deadline, she managed with confidence and efficiency, despite the time constraints. Carolina is a great motivator and mentor. She always inspires and prepares her patients. She is confident and decisive. She is absolutely one of the most dynamic and successful individuals I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Her calm, patient manner was a great help to me when my frustration was at an all-time high. Her knowledge of the each procedure and her remarkable problem-solving abilities are rare indeed. She is a large part of the reason I look forward to visiting Costa Rica again. If the quality of a firm's employees is an indication of future success then Dr. Pastor is facing an even brighter future!

Dr. Pastor and Carolina Aguilar... such professionalism is rare nowadays. I commend each of them for their dedication and hard work. They deserve to be proud of themselves and their achievements. May their future efforts be equally successful and rewarding.
